Acts of Courage: Leaping into Mindful Music Teaching

This article comes from my former professors Cathy Benedict and Patrick Schmidt. Cathy’s voice rings in my ear almost everyday I study education. “Effective at what? Beneficial for whom?” She has made me question everything I know. Many of her practices I’ve adopted into my own teaching methods and I am so grateful to have studied with her and Patrick in the classroom and abroad in Guatemala.
